Hello?? Anyone??? Am I on a ghost ship now??
Romelle's been in Nexus for a few hours, but she doesn't yet know that. Nor would anybody else, unless they're monitoring a huge mecha somewhere on the outskirts of Nexus.
She wakes up in her bed, in her room, in IGF-Atlas.
That's normal.
The Altean girl yawns, stretches, and almost falls out of her bed onto the floor. Business as usual, because it's been a long night before she went to bed.
She goes towards the bridge, noting a strange absence of, well the whole crew, really.
Worried now, she quickly turns on one on the computers and one of the floating, holographic screens (AKA the usual) on the bridge.
"It's me, Romelle, reporting for duty. Show me where's everyone, please. Right now. Coordinates, whatever. I know you know. Hopefully."
She then takes a deep breath and then whispers,
"I'm talking to a ship. I knew madness must be contagious."
A message appears on the screen. In Altean. Romelle, not surprised at all, reads it and groans.
"Just tell me I'm not alone. What am I supposed to do against Honerva alone? She's magic. Also, you write like my late great grandfather. But I guess anybody needs a hobby. Yours can be old language style, I see."
Another message.
After reading, Romelle cheers up.
"So Allura's on this planet! Er. Crossroads. Place. Between Realities. But not infested between Realities place. Thanks, IGF-Atlas, you're a real pal. Just turn on some air conditioning for when I come back. You're musty. No offence."
Romelle's watched some television on Earth and accidentally learnt some Earthling words. Like pal or buddy or fuck, etc. Broadening one's horizons was always good if it wasn't too dangerous.
She leaves the ship - it is ship shaped right now, not giant robot shaped- and looks around.
Then the young Altean heads into the direction of a plaza. Anyone can meet her near Atlas, or on her way to the centre of Nexus. Or anywhere, really. The Altean teenager (actual teenager, in this case) is going to get lost, in all the likelyhood. Romelle has no map of Nexus for now, and no orientation, yet. Though she plans to change that quickly. She'll ask the first person she meets for directions.
